Mr Morris was the country’s first competitor on the television program, Australian Ninja Warrior, on Sunday night.
The program aired on Channel 9 and Mr Morris literally threw his body into the tough, gruelling and physical obstacle course.
Earning huge popularity overseas, the show is trending in Australia following its Australian premiere.
While the Leeton product didn’t complete the full course, it was the experience itself that was worthwhile.
“I’ve met a lot of great people and made some good friends all over Australia by doing this,” he said.
Mr Morris is an acrobat and while the course was difficult, he felt his training in that area had allowed him to compete to the best of his ability.
He said his family were by his side throughout the journey and they could even be seen by eagle watchers on Sunday night, cheering him on as he attempted to make his way through the course.
“My parents have always been really big supporters of anything I’ve wanted to do …,” Mr Morris said.
“They’ve always pushed me to go after my dreams.”

Australian Ninja Warrior is a sports entertainment competition that pits competitors against each other by taking part in extremely difficult obstacle courses.
Australian Ninja Warrior was something Mr Morris accidentally came across.
“I think from memory I was on Facebook and saw it there,” Mr Morris said prior to his appearance on the new television program.
“I filled most of it out pretty quickly, but when it came time to do a video I did put it off until the last couple of days it was due.
“I was pretty surprised to get a call to go audition.
“It’s been a really fun ride ever since.”
