Leeton are in urgent need of another Group 20 victory if they are to keep their season alive.
Pike said it was crucial they won at the very least the next two of their three matches.
First up is this weekend’s game against the Griffith Black and Whites, which will be followed by Hay and Darlington Point-Coleambally.
“It’s going to be another big test this weekend,” Pike said.
“Basically, our finals campaign starts this weekend.
“If we don’t win at least the next two of our next three games, we’re no hope.
“I don’t think the boys know how serious it is at the moment.
“They know we need to win, but this time last year we were on top of the ladder.
“We’ve got to get our thinking straight.”
First grade will kick off at 3pm at EW Moore Oval.
