Luke DeValentin and Dean Minato won scratch with rounds of 74-71-145, ahead of Gerry Cox and Martin Sweeney 73-74-147.
Handicap winners were Alan Murnane and Neil McAntee 65-62-127 net, Ian Smith and Alf Franchi second 68-62-130 nett.
A pleasing factor was that 28 pairs contested the second round.
The event on Saturday was a 4 BBB Stroke. Tom Morgan and John Bortolazzo broke a decade of four ball outs to take the win, carding 63 nett, equal contributors with seven pars, on a countback over Brad Lemon and Bryan Salvestro 63 nett, birdie to Salvestro on the 15th. They in turn pushed Carl Bandiera and Greg Smith 63 nett into third on a countback carding six pars.
Pro Pins to Max Turner and Jeff Wiscombe. Par Threes, 4th Martin Sweeney, 7th Brett Angel, 11th Jake Harrison, 16th Bryan Salvestro. Vouchers to 67 nett on a countback.
Another 4 BBB Stroke on Sunday, Andrew Oates and Geoff Cotterill 62 nett won, Oates a birdie on the 8th on a countback over Dean Minato and Luke De Valentin 62 nett also on a countback over Allan Murnane and Neil McAntee 62 nett, birdied both the 5th and 15th.
Pins to 7th Wayne Tyndall, 16th Craig Barrington. Vouchers to 67 nett.
The Board intends to turn the area on the side of the clubhouse where the club flat is into a can bar and entertainment area.

The Board is seeking more sponsors for monthly medal events.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday with 40 players in three grades and also the Fourth Round of the Winter Cup.
Jim Dickie, 38 points, won 0-18 Grade on a countback over Graeme Trevett, 38 points.
Tom Morgan, 39 points, on a roll, won 19-27 Grade ahead Garry Purcell, 38 points.
Bob Painting, 41 points, won 28-36 Grade, Ray Barrington, 35 points second.

Thursdays event is a single stableford and the Fifth Round of the Winter Cup, which Tom Morgan continues to lead.
