Cirillo said it was a case of the boys proving that pace may have it over brains in some situations.
“We didn’t think it would be that one-sided, but they taught us a lesson,” he said.
“It is a good confidence builder for them.
“We know that they will be the side who achieve successes this year regarding the ladder.”
It was a strong performance for Griffith City Two which saw Jake Humphreys score a hat-trick while he was supported by Erik Listmann who scored two while Adam Leeson, Nathan Battocchio and Dylan Gillett score one each.
For City Two Nicholas Schirripa scored two and Daniele Sotgia chipped in with a goal.
