But there's beauty to be found everywhere.
Instead of thinking its a dreary day when its foggy, see the beauty that Mother Nature has provided by wrapping the landscape in a soft white cloak.
It makes the landscape seem ethereal.
Also see the beauty on a frosty morning when the trees and plants are painted white. As the sun's rays touch them they sparkle as though sprinkled with diamonds.
Taking a deep breath of crisp, cold air makes you feel alive.
There are also winter activities to enjoy such as cheering on your favourite football team or heading to the ski fields where the landscape is a winter wonderland covered in a layer of soft white marshmellow.
Enjoy the respite from the heat of summer because these few cold months will be soon be over.

Eternal life
Recently I read an ancient Hindu religious book named Bhagwat Purana.
This book contains 950 pages and I read this book with pleasure in a year Purana means old book.
There are 18 Puranas and I have read three of them.
The main theme of the Bhagwat Purana is that human spirit or soul is eternal.
Lord Krishana says in the Hindu Holy book the Gita "… the soul is eternal. Neither fire nor water can destroy it".
According to some historians Christians too in the beginning believed in the eternity of soul.
Bhagwat Purana says God (soul) is eternal while body is destructible All the existence except God is Maya.
If we love God and don’t care for Maya (wealth and other worldly things) we will have eternal peace.
A person who is always devoted in meditation to God never faces death.
He is always busy like a Yogi in meditation and reaches a stage where he is unmindful whether his body is alive or dead.
This is the stage of Eternal Life taught by Jesus’ Bible (New Testament) also teaches us, “never care for the pleasures of your flesh. Take care of your spirit "
Long, long ago I read a book named Tibetan Book of the Dead Tibetans were determined that nobody except a Buddhist should read that book.
An American priest got that book secretly translated in English with the help of a Tibetan professor in Calcutta (now Kolkata) University.
According to this book the human soul passes through three stages (Bardos inTibetan).
While dying A Yogi (Yoga -practitioner) practically experiences these stages while dying.
Two of these stages have logically been proved correct by the American psychologists.

Local Charity Prepares to Take a Bake
The Newborn Intensive Care Foundation (NICF) is urging people from southern NSW to take the bake challenge to raise money to help transport sick and premature babies to or from the Canberra Hospital.
Babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Canberra Hospital frequently need to be transported to regional hospitals to be closer to home.
There are about 300 babies a year admitted to Canberra Hospital from southern NSW.
