Orton, the Riverina League representative coach, was found guilty of headbutting Wagga Tigers’ Nick Ryan at a tribunal hearing at Ganmain on Thursday night.
The tribunal ruled the offence warranted a three-game suspension but one game was taken off due to Orton’s good record.
It resulted in a two-game suspension.
Orton will miss Saturday’s game against Turvey Park at Maher Oval, plus the week after against Leeton-Whitton at Leeton Showground.
The suspension came after Wagga Tigers cited Orton for the headbutt in the round six game at Exies Oval earlier this month.
