Principal Leanne McWhirter is hoping for a big attendance at a weekend of festivities on September 23 and 24, including a ceremony, group photos, dinner dance, church service and farewell breakfast.
Commemorations kicked-off this week when three students of more than 70 years ago united with three present day students.
Siblings Elise Panolfo (nee Peruzzi) (class of 1943) and Bruno Peruzzi (class of 1945) both found their names in well-kept attendance books.
They showed their names to current students and siblings Amber Sayers (Year 3) and Nicholas Sayers (Year 6), who enjoyed their history lesson.
Ms McWhirter said the primary school has long had a family feel, and students are taught according to an individualised program.
