Under the light at EW Moore Oval on Saturday the Griffith side was able to come away 40-22 winners.
The teams traded tries in the outset, but once Black and Whites were able to find their footing in the game, they started to make it look easy.
The side went into the break with a 20-4 lead thanks to tries from Sosaia Finefeuiak, David Milne and a double to Stephen Broome.
The halftime break did little to slow the scoring from the home side as Stephen Broome completed his hat-trick while George Broome not wanting to be outshone by his brother scored two quick tries.
Coach Craig Morriss was happy to see his side really backing each other up across the park.
“We probably still gave away too many penalties, but it was still good to get the win,” he said.
The Black and Whites now have two weeks off with they bye leading into the long weekend.
