A perfect day for a run on the Hill. Sunny and fresh after the recent rain, the bush looked a treat and the track was ideal. In the Long course the Top Ten had a complete new look from last week.

Are Abera enjoyed his first ever win, well-deserved after cutting a minute off last week’s run. Tony Rockov came flying in at second just holding off Moreno Chiappin and Tony Gullo only 2 and 3 seconds behind respectively.
Great to see a fast, furious and crowded finish.
Gary Andreazza lapped up fifth position just beating Adriaan Shields and Jeremy Woodhouse who tied for sixth.
Great to see some of the ‘old hands’ Paul Muir and Brian Bellicanta come in eighth and ninth to remind us how quick they still are after many kilometres completed on the Hill.
Ella Savage made a memorable debut in the long course to capture tenth. Her mum Renae kept an eye on her for the first 4 kms of the race until Ella decide to have some fun and burn her way up the field.
Great to see a fast, furious and crowded finish.
Aidan Fattore was the fastest male and Teresa Burges the fastest female. The slashing of times continued in the short course with PBs throughout the top ten. We can expect some severe treatment from the handicapper as a result.
Melissa De Bortoli, unhindered by child minding duties decided on a “proper” run and won the race by a country mile cutting a whopping seven minutes from last week. She had time for cup of tea before the other place getters arrived.
Lidia De Bortoli was second and third was Emma Norbiato who also decided a real run was in order slashing a huge time off from last week. Then the Lancasters arrived, Hugh fourth and William fifth.
Georgia Salmon followed sixth, just fighting off Louise Gunn and James Moreshead came in eighth. Michael Turnell and Nicholas Andreazza rounded off the ten.
The Mingays, Tammy and Jack pulled off the fastest times.
