There is little doubt Griffith has all of the talent needed when it comes to the arts – but often funding and location present barriers to realising the goals of those who have big dreams of making it.

It is something the state government is hoping to help overcome, with representatives from the new agency Create NSW in the city on Wednesday to promote both funding opportunities and support for those who have a dream.

“The variety of funding opportunities available through this program will help strengthen our small to medium arts and cultural organisations, create opportunities for skills development and unlock the full potential of artists and cultural practitioners,” Create NSW CEO Michael Brealey said.

“It is central to the continued success of our state’s dynamic arts and culture.”
