Daniel Johnson was among the standouts for Hanwood FC as he scored two important goals to claim the 2-1 win.
The first came off the back of some good build up play from Hanwood which resulted in Jacob Zanatta putting in a cross which was pounced upon by Johnson.
The second came in similar circumstances as more good play from Hanwood resulted in the ball finding Johnson.
The forward used his foot as a cannon to put the ball past the Yoogali shot stopper from outside the 18-yard box.
Hanwood FC White coach Jason Bertacco had no doubt on who his best player was.
“Danny was great providing those goals,” he said.
“Daniel Quarisa was named man of the match and deservedly so, he had a great game.”
The win makes it two from two for Hanwood after another 2-1 win last weekend.
Yoogali FC Two now have a record of one win and one loss.
