Coach Luke Papandrea was pleased his side was able to get the win.
“It wasn’t pretty but we got the three points,” he said.
Daniel Agresta went from one emotion to the next as within the first 10 minutes of the game he scored a goal on a breakaway and then had to be taken from the field.
“He was taken off with a knee injury,” he said.
“We aren’t too sure of the extent at this stage but we are hoping it will not be as bad as first thought.”
The second goal for Hanwood was scored by Brad Plos while Ben Favero tucked away the third after he was able to find his way through the Griffith City defence.
