A week off has the Rhinos revived, refreshed and ready to restart their campaign, according to co-captain Stuey Smeeth.
“The week off has definitely helped us,” Smeeth said.
“We’ve regrouped and it’s been good for the boys to recover from a few injuries.”
The Rhinos take on fellow winless team Woden Weston FC at Woden Park on Saturday.
Smeeth predicted the game to be tough but said it wasn’t out of reach for the Rhinos.
“We’re new to the league when they’ve been in the league for however many years but we’re definitely going there to bring some points home,” Smeeth said.
“We’ve put the last two results behind us and the main thing is, we haven’t given up.
“We’ve got a good team mentality and everyone’s still willing to put in.”
The first grade match will start at 3.30pm.
