Andrew Smith, James Dargaville and Tevita Kuridrani made a quick visit to the school.
They spent their time at the school doing a question and answer session, signing autographs, handing out posters and taking photos with the kids.
“The buzz was unreal and the kids were very excited,” Griffith Public School teacher Lachlan Date said.
“It was a great Q and A and there was a heap of posters.”
The timing was perfect for the school’s rugby players who will take part in a rugby gala day on Friday.
The school has two year 3/4 and two 5/6 teams competing on the day.
“Our four rugby union teams that are competing on Friday at the Griffith Rugby Union Gala Day were lucky enough to get a group shot [with the players],” Date said.
“The players spoke about their professional rugby career, their schooling and also gave some advice to the kids.
“Read, do your best and play rugby.”
