The Tuesday night mixed teams missed out on their games but the conditions held out for some sensational tennis for the rest of the week.
The Monday night A grade men were back on court in style – the skill not deterred by a week off.
With so much great tennis played it was difficult to name a standout pairing but good to see the guys getting into such a high standard of social yet competitive tennis.
In Monday night ladies tennis, Williams cruised in with a victory over Stosur (4-2) and Kerber defeated Wozniacki (4-2).
Azarenka with the bye this week still clings to the top of the table position with Williams and Kerber fighting to knock the top side off.
In Wednesday night mixed tennis, Pinnacle HPC had its first win of the season as the side smashed One Hit Wonders (5-1).
Super Cool also had a walkover win against Double Trouble (5-1).
Hot Dates and Bits & Pieces managed to pull off an amazing – and rare – draw with even sets and even games.
Nice Gary took the honours against Young Guns (5-1) to pull ahead on the leaderboard.
However, Shud stole the show on the night with yet another win, to remain undefeated, against Whatever (4-2). The big question remains, will anyone catch them?
