Griffith Hockey Association junior development officer Andrew Sinclair thinks hockey is the game for your child.
“We’re about participation and fun, that’s the two key components,” Sinclair said.
“With other sports, there might be a bit of pressure on higher achievements but we’re focused on participation and development opportunities for kids at all skill levels.”
While fun is the focus, Sinclair said because the association is a branch of the Wagga Wagga Combined Association, which is affiliated with Hockey NSW, there is avenues for kids to pursue hockey to the highest level.
“We’re building good pathways to play in Wagga and other representative opportunities with development camps,” he said.
To find out everything there is to know, an information day will be held this Saturday at Griffith Central from 9am-12pm.
There will also be a free come and try day on May 6 to start the season.
