The opening match of the night saw the open league tag players go head-to-head.
Despite Marian Catholic College showing a huge improvement from its first match – where they went down to Griffith High School 42-0 – Wade High School still came away with a 18-6 win.
The next match was the under 16s rugby league and Wade High School set up a showdown for the number one spot with GHS next week with a 36-14 win over MCC.
In the final match of the night, Marian went down 22-10 in the open rugby league game. After Wade High School shot out to a two-try lead, Marian rallied back into the match with tries either side of half-time.
However, Wade proved too strong in the end to secure the 12-point win.
Following the open rugby league match, a scuffle broke out when players were shaking hands that was quickly broken up.
