Griffith Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses to come forward after a house in the city’s south-west was gutted by fire on Sunday evening.

As of Monday afternoon Griffith Police and NSW Fire and Rescue were still investigating the scene in order to accurately determine the cause of the blaze.
Emergency services were called to a house fire in Heath Crescent at around 5.30pm Sunday evening.
Upon arrival the house was found to be well alight with NSW Fire and Rescue from Griffith attempting to control the fire.
Neighbours watched as the fire ripped through the residence leaving it totally destroyed.
The blaze was eventually brought under control and extinguished by NSW Fire and Rescue at around 6.20pm
None of the occupants were home at the time and no injuries to either the public or emergency services were sustained.
