Three men were refused bail in Griffith Local Court on Friday over the haul.
Saverno Mirando, 47, Pasquale Romeo, 54 and Kenneth Hunter-Boyd will reappear in Griffith Local Court on April 26.
Police from Strike Force Elkmont, which included officers from Griffith Local Area Command in conjunction with Strike Force Hyperion from the SCC Drug Squad uncovered the cannabis on Thursday after executing a crime scene warrant at a farm at Colinroobie.
About 11.30am, strike force officers attended the farm on Males Road, Colinroobie just to to the north of Leeton.
During the search, officers found and seized in excess of 2500 cannabis plants, two shot guns, two rifles, ammunition and a sum of cash.
The estimated potential street value of the cannabis was $5.5 million. .
The three men were arrested at the farm.
They were all taken to Griffith police station where they were charged with cultivate large commercial quantity of prohibited plants.
Police are still on the scene at Colinroobie.
