The games are on this weekend from February 24 to 26 in Barellan – home of Australia’s world-famous tennis player, Evonne Goolagong Cawley.
This year, the masters games will feature 10 sports to make sure there’s something for everyone.
All proceeds will go back into the community to assist with building infrastructure and needs.
In a staggering feat for the community, the Barellan Masters Games committee has already donated more than $40,000 in grants since its inception in 2010.
These funds have helped organisations within the community complete projects such as solar heating for the Barellan pool and an upgrade to the netball courts at the sportsground.
The weekend kickstarts on the Friday night with barefoot bowls and mixed tennis.
It will continue on Saturday with team penning, tennis, golf, the Barellan run, Barellan walk, basketball and the masters fitness challenge.
The fitness challenge is a three-person relay based event for people aged 20 years and over.
It will test their speed, agility, endurance, strength and teamwork skills.
All will roll up again on Sunday for the triathlon, netball and the popular six-a-side cricket.
All are welcome Saturday night to listen and dance to Mark Smith at the Barellan & District War Memorial Bowling Club from 7pm.
With every sport having different minimum age requirements there is no reason to think that you’re too old.
