Griffith’s talented quilters will show off the needle work at their Murrumbidgee Country Quilters exhibition next week.

The group is in its 22nd year and has 24 members, including passionate quilter and vice president Annette Sivewright.
“I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised, we have some very talented ladies,” Mrs Sivewright said.
So far raising a massive $80,000, passionate patchers will hand over money to charity.
“This year we have decided to support Ovarian cancer, as well as Can Assist,” Mrs Sivewright said.
Everyone is encouraged to come along for morning and afternoon tea as well as a light lunch on March 4 and 5 at St Marys Hall.
“There will be trading stores, where you can buy fabric and ready-made items.” Mrs Sivewright said.
The ladies have also assembled a beautiful quilt, which they are raffling off.
