RDA – Riverina Chair, Diana Gibbs said Mrs Whiting was appointed to the position of Executive Officer because of the skills and experience.
“We are fortunate to have found someone with Rachel’s background,” she said.
According to Ms Gibbs, her previous job experience holds her in a good position to help guide the RDA – Riverina in the right direction.
During her time as the CEO of The Business Centre Pilbara in Karratha, Western Australia Mrs Whiting was able to double the revenue and bring knowledge of a wide range of regional issues.
Ms Gibbs thanked former Interim EO, Lani Houston for the contribution she made and help in the transitional period.
