Michael scored a run-a-ball 38 while Ryan went dangerously close to carrying his bat at Collina Oval before he was the last wicket to fall with 84 runs to his name.
It was Shawn Iddles who broke the opening partnership of 60 runs.
The bowler continued his impressive year to claim 4/24.
Iddles was helped by Mitchell Wiseman (1/13) to quickly reduce Hanwood to 5/73.
However, the elusive Ryan McWhirter continued on his way.
Simon Mackie (2/29) chimed in with a couple wickets before McWhirter combined with Torren Blanch (9*) to take the score to 9/160 by the end of the innings.
Like Hanwood, Coly’s batsmen were only able to put a couple of meaningful scores on the board.
First drop Josh Shaw (18) did his best to dig Coleambally out of an early hole before Mackie returned to form with 59 runs.
Ryan McWhirter was introduced into the attack midway through the innings and ripped through Coly’s lineup.
He returned tidy figures of 6/17 off 7.2 overs to wrap up a 57-run win for Hanwood.
For Digger Mark Favell, it was a case of so close yet so far for the stalwart against Exies.
Favell opened the batting in Diggers 48-run win at Exies No.2.
After a slow start, he kicked into gear.
He belted 13 fours and one six as he put on an 101-run opening stand with John Moran (23) before Moran fell.
Favell put on another 52 runs with Graeme Lyons (26) before the opener was removed, on 94 off 84 balls, by Rod Bordin (1/40).
However, there was no slowing of the run-rate as Brian Corner (33) saw Diggers to 3/215.
Brenton Harrison (38) started the run chase in positive fashion before Greg Collins (2/31) and Neil Casey (2/33) struck.
Justin Winkler smashed a quick 83 but it wasn’t enough as Corner (4/27) continually took wickets to secure the Diggers win.
In the boilover of the round, last-placed Yenda stunned ladder leaders Coro.
The Cougars were well on top after bowling Yenda out for just 41.
Nicholas Witherspoon (4/9) was Coro’s best.
However, the Yenda pitch provided just as much for the Jets as Jesse-Wade Ryan (6/14) played a starring role to bowl Coro out for 25.
