It was a dominant batting effort that got Hanwood home after holding the Cougars to 9/124 at the end of their 20 overs.
Isaac Campbell (41 retired) and Will Lyons (25) led the way before Ryan McWhirter (28*) and Jack Rowston (14*) finished off the job.
Ben Signor had a good day for Coro with 30 runs and 1/18 while Jack (3/17) and Ben (2/7) Rowston were Hanwood’s best bowlers in the six-wicket win.
In the other game on Saturday at Coleambally, two individual performances saw Coly beat Exies.
As Exies batted first, it was Jack Cullen who was destructive with ball in hand.
He claimed 6/20 to dismantle the Exies batting lineup as Connor Bock (20) and Aditha Jayasuriya (16) helped Exies get to 112.
Piri Karunapalan (2/19) and Bock (1/5) combined to reduce Coly to 3/12 before Chris Hayes (46), Cullen (15), Sam Breed (18*) and Jack Buchanan (10*) got Coly home.
