A bye can halt a team’s momentum but Hanwood captain Dean Catanzariti thinks it will have the opposite effect on his side.

The Griffith District Cricket Association first grade side finally found its feet with back-to-back wins before the general bye hit last weekend.
Instead of disrupting the side, it instead gave Hanwood time to welcome back players.
“It’s [bye] probably worked in our favour because we’ve been missing players,” Catanzariti said.
“Our performances probably aren’t a true reflection of the side because we’ve had a few out.”
Luke Shannon and Jack Rowston both will come into the side for Hanwood’s match against Exies.
The Hanwood captain hopes Saturday’s game at Hanwood will go differently than last time against the ladder leaders.
On that occasion, also at Hanwood, the Winklers – Justin and Jamie – picked up seven wickets between them to bowl Hanwood out for 95 runs and help Exies to a five-wicket victory.
Catanzariti said his side wouldn’t be worried about the past performance.
"I’m just going to focus on our game – that’s all we can do,” he said.
“We’ll see what the pitch is doing first and foremost and then go from there.”
The match starts at 1pm.
