Andrew McLean (42 points) won A Grade, nailing a birdie on the 15th in a 24 point back nine.
Max Turner also carded, 42 points, but lost on a countback, canning back to back birdies on the 7th. and 8th.
Chick Graham (43 points) won B Grade, carding 10 pars, ahead of Robin Salvestro’s 39 points, draining a birdie on the 7th.
Mark Webb (43 points) was best in C Grade, with a four-point par on the 4th. Adam Leeson, 41 points, was second, with a four point par on the 5th. Pro Pins won by Brad Lemon and Andrew McLean. Par Threes 4th. Bruce Smith, 7th. Max Turner, 11th. Glenn Lyon, 16th.
A solid field of 51 players contested Sunday’s single stableford.
Mitchell Howard (37 points) won A Grade, nailing a birdie on the 7th. Jake Harrison (35 points) nailed a birdie on the 4th.
Michael Coleman (39 points) won B Grade, nailing a birdie on the 5th, on a countback over Rob Harrington, draining a birdie on the second. Star of the day was Chris Powys, the C Grade winner who carded an equal record score of 48 points, out with 23 points, four pointers on the 2nd and 5th, and added 25 points home with another four-point par on the 18th.
Andrew Mott (41 points) was runner-up, with four point pars on the 4th and 18th. Tim McIntosh won the 7th pin, and Chris Powys 16th.
The free Family Fun Day and Xmas Party at the Griffith Golf Club is on this Sunday at 4pm. There will be free golf clinics for adults and juniors, all equipment supplied. There will be soccer, golf putting games, face painting and more.
There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.
Christmas Gift vouchers from the Pro Shop are now available for purchase.
Two Dollar Days left before the playoff on December 11th for players who have Recorded 36 points over the past year.
Today’s, Thursday’s and Sunday’s events are single stablefords, with a monthly medal Stroke on Saturday, also the playoff for the Gold Medal in each grade.

The veterans played a single stableford in three grades on Thursday.
David Woodside, 37 points, won 0-18 Grade from John F. Gale, 35 points, on countback over Cec Spence.
Don Catanzariti 40 points won 19-27 Grade ahead of Tom Morgan (37 points).
Bill Wilinson, 37 points, won 28-36 Grade on a countback over Gordon Druitt, 37 points. Bob Painting won the 11th pin, 15th went to James Browne, and 16th to Cec Spence.
