The teams of two battled it out for wins in mixed, men’s and women’s competitions.
LiveFit coach Matt Kenny said the day was a huge success and he was constantly surprised by the efforts put in by the athletes.
“We had people that climbed a 15-foot rope for the first time, people that did single leg squats for the first time,” Kenny said.
“It was a showcase of what the human body can achieve when you train hard and put your mind to it.
“I was so proud of our local athletes putting it to the athletes that travelled. It never ceases to amaze me what the guys can do when put into a competitive situation.”
Referees were designated to each team which Kenny said “took the standard of the comp to another level.”
Kenny has called on anyone wanting to give CrossFit a go to join in on the CrossFit beginners class at 6.30pm on Thursday nights.
