From the get-go, you could see Steggles meant business.
Aislinn Gesuale scored off the opening drive of the game before Lexi Heath scored her first of the night.
The game evened out from there but neither side was able to convert field position into points.
In the second half, Steggles went up by four as Heath and Gesuale doubled up.
Shortly after, Jessy McRae scored The Personnel Group’s first of the night before a length of the field try to Steggles’ Eloise Star restored the four-point buffer.
The Personnel Group responded instantly with a try to Sarah Dossetor but it was too little, too late as Steggles claimed the 5-2 victory.
In the other division four games, Natrad beat J&C Foods 11-1 and Griffith Real Estate Girls drew 2-2 with Tropeano Harvesting/Piccinin Plasterworks.
