Max Turner and Grant Semmler combined to take the win on 63 ¼ nett.
They combined to shoot one under par 70, nailing birdies on the 1st, 11th and 17th.
Dean Crack and Sam Daniel second, 64 ¾ nett, 75 off the stick, birdies on the 3rd, 9th and 12th.
Rob Trembath and Allan King third 65 4/4 nett, 73 off the stick, birdie on the 13th, on a count back over Ray Barrington, Slim Cavanaugh.

Sunday’s event was a single stableford in two grades. Ryan Harrison 41 points won 0-18, jammed his third shot into the cup for an eagle three on the 5th, added birdies on the 2nd and 5th. Geoff Cotterill second 40 points.
John Ellis 37 points won 19-36 on a countback over Skeet Milne 37 points.
There’s a busy two weeks of golf coming up. Besides this week’s Veterans Tournament, Tuesday November 1 will see the PHL Surveyors Melbourne Cup golf day.
The event is a 4 Person Ambrose, open to members and non-members with a 9.15am shotgun start. Entries from the club or pro shop.
The Griffith City Open, sponsored by GS & BD Electrics, Novus Restaurant and the Antill Hill Park Boys is on Sunday, November 6.

The vets are mourning the passing of member golfer Jim Livanes, who died last week.
