The 2017 tour is set to hit EW Moore Oval on March 17 next year and will feature over 25 athletes.
We couldn’t be more pumped to come back to Australia.
- Nitro Circus CEO and creative director Mike Porra
It’s an all-star international lineup, as strong as any Nitro Circus ever assembled, loaded with the best riders in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX, scooter and inline, performing the biggest tricks in action sports.
FMX riders include the only athlete ever to perform the death-defying triple backflip on an FMX bike, Josh Sheehan, two-time X Games gold medallist for biggest whip, Jarryd McNeil, X Games gold medallist Cam Sinclair, X Games medallist Blake “Bilko” Williams and Nitro Circus veteran Steve Mini.
Also riding is the number one scooter rider in the world Ryan “R Willy” Williams.
In addition to Williams, BMX stars Jaie Toohey, Matty Whyatt and Andy Buckworth will hit the ramp as well.
New Zealand’s Jed “The Warrior” Mildon was the first man ever to do a triple flip on BMX and now is the only man ever to perform a quad flip on BMX will also be there.
The tour will also feature America’s Bruce Cook – an FMX athlete who has inspired people around the world with his courage in the face of adversity.
Paralysed from the waist down during an attempt of the never before landed double front flip, Cook refused to his injury define him.
Determined to return to the sport he loves, less than two years after his crash fans witnessed history when Bruce completed the first ever back-flip by a paraplegic.
USA’s Aaron “Crum” Sauvage and Streetbike Tommy will also appear.
Plus, in addition to daredevil stunts and jaw-dropping world firsts, audiences will also see a host of outrageous new contraptions take flight.
“We couldn’t be more pumped to come back to Australia,” Nitro Circus CEO and creative director Mike Porra said.
“This is where the tour started before it exploded into a global sensation.
“We’re also psyched to bring this massive show to a host of new cities that haven’t experienced Nitro Circus Live before. They don’t know what they’re in for.”
