DON'T let little Aaliyah Havea's size fool you.
The nine-year-old may be petite, but when it comes to big ideas she has plenty.
The pint-sized entrepreneur's latest venture, to raise some money for her Christmas holidays, will take place in City Park tomorrow from noon to 3pm.
Using her own savings to finance the fundraiser, she will sell sausages, steak sandwiches, burgers, kebabs, drinks, lolly bags and chips.
"I decided I wanted to earn my own money for my holidays," she said.
"My brother and I are going to stay with our grandma who lives at Kandos for the holidays and I don't want her to have to worry about buying us things.
"I hope people will come down and help me by having lunch at the park. This way they won't have to go off and buy lunch.
"I like to cook and I helped at a fundraiser a few weeks ago. That's how I got the idea."
Aaliyah's proud mum Cath said she wasn't surprised by her daughter's enthusiasm to make her own money.
"She's always coming up with ideas. As she's gets older her ideas are getting bigger," she said.
"She has done dog walking before and is doing a couple of people's Christmas cards for them and is always asking if she can do chores to earn some money.
"Since she was very young she has been learning the value of money. She realises that things are not cheap and everybody has to work hard for their money."
