Desperate to bring the show back to Griffith, organisers relied on the support and donations from the community to ensure the day could go ahead.
Griffith Show Society secretary, Laura Cameron, said there would be no show if it wasn’t for the help of everyone coming together and each sponsor supporting various aspects of the show.
“Putting a show together is a big job, everything takes time and costs a lot of money,” Miss Cameron said.
"It is everyone doing their bit, or people all putting their two cents in that has helped get the show up and running again. It is everyone coming together as one that has made this happen,” she said.
Some of the many sponsors include Casella, Roy Spagnolo, Yenda Producers, Spencer & Bennett, MIA Tyre Service and Murrumbidgee Irrigation.
