THE father of Griffith man David Rauluni who passed away earlier this month has thanked the community for their support over what he says has been one of the hardest times for him and his family.

Dave Rauluni senior said his family had been touched by the love shown by the Griffith community as they said farewell to a son who had made everyone smile.
“We will miss him every day,” he said. “I just want to acknowledge that the community was really behind us in this time,” he said. “The whole community was there to farewell him at his funeral, the church was jam-packed and the Uniting church were very good to us.
“The Pacific Islander community were in full force and it was good to see us just as one community, regardless of race, together as many different parts of our multicultural city.
“The whole Rauluni family would like to thank the community for all of their love and support, all of your expressions of sympathy are of great comfort to us.”
