A large crowd attended the show where works donated by local artists were on display alongside some competitive student contributions.
Art was auctioned throughout the night to raise money for the school’s creative art program.
Principal Susan Bourne said she had been impressed with the effort of both staff and students. “This is a wonderful thing for the school,” she said. “We have to say a big thank you to all of the artists who donated to support us.”
Organiser Robin Delves stressed the importance of art for primary students. “It is often underrated but art is such a good way for them to learn and it is also good for their well being,” she said.
