Griffith residents headed to the polls on Saturday to vote in this year’s local government elections.
Counting began at 6pm on Saturday night, and resumed again on Sunday morning.
As of Sunday morning, the progressive results are:
Mayor results
John Dal Broi: 2,474 first preference votes (29.25 per cent)
Doug Curran: 2,412 first preference votes (28.52 per cent)
Mike Neville: 1,432 first preference votes (16.93 per cent)
Dino Zappocosta: 1,171 first preference votes (13.85 per cent)
Paul Snaidero: 968 first preference votes (11.45 per cent)
Council results
Group C
Mike Neville 9.25 per cent, Doug Curran 11.69 per cent, Brian Simpson 4.08 per cent, Craig Burley 1.56 per cent: 26.58 per cent or 2,080 first preference votes.
Group E
John Dal Broi 14.39 per cent, Simon Croce 3.82 per cent: 18.21 per cent or first preference 1,425 votes.
Group B
Paul Snaidero 5.83 per cent, Edwin Mardon 4.77 per cent, Andy Armstrong 2.42 per cent and Michele Devery 0.65 per cent: 13.66 per cent or first preference 1,069 votes
Group D
Anne Napoli 4.82 per cent, Rina Mercuri 3.26 per cent, Deb Longhurst 4.83 per cent: 12.91 per cent or 1,010 first preference votes.
Group A
Dino Zappacosta 9.53 per cent, Leon Thorpe 1.32 per cent: 10.85 per cent or 849 first preference votes.

Tom Mackerras 2.49 per cent, Paul Rossetto 4.89 per cent, Max Buljabasic 0.59 per cent, Lance Perry 0.27 per cent, Franz Krogh 0.15 per cent: 8.40 per cent or 657 first preference votes.

Christine Stead 5.38 per cent, Ricky Chugha, 2.39 per cent: 7.77 per cent or 608 first preference votes.
