The Swans have dropped just two games at the Exies Oval and this week’s match against Narrandera will be the side’s last game on home soil.
“We want to finish the home season on a high,” Swans director of coaching Adrian Pavese said.
“We’ve only dropped two games at home. That’s very pleasing and one of the reasons we’re in the position we are in.”
Pavese mixed things up last weekend and was looking to shake things up again on Saturday.
“We might try a few different things again and possibly give a couple guys an opportunity,” Pavese said.
“We may rest one or two players.
“We haven’t confirmed anything yet but Jack Rowston is finished with his representative commitments and is in the mix.
“He’s been in good form with the 17s when he’s played and he’s had a really good representative season with the Rams.
“There’s also Ben McRae and Kieran Hume. They’ve gone back to the reserves, done their jobs and are pushing to come back in.”
Even though the Swans won last week, Pavese said they weren’t quite at their best.
He said their best will come through as their confidence builds and their confidence will build the more they play.
“The more times you're near the footy, making tackles and giving yourself more opportunities to get the footy in your hands, your game will naturally improve,” Pavese said.
“We saw a bit of that last week. We still weren't were we needed to be but making 74 tackles for the game certainly helped.”
Despite looking at resting players, Pavese said the Swans wouldn’t be taking anything for granted this weekend against Narrandera.
“We’ve still got three tough games before finals and we’re not taking them lightly,” Pavese said.
“We want to win every game we can between now and finals.
“We may rest a couple but that’s not to say we’re not going in with a super strong team.”
James Toscan will be the only Swan unavailable this weekend.
