With third locked up, Wests will get a home semi-final following their resounding 8-1 win over Yoogali FC on Saturday night.
The home side put in a solid first half of football at the Coro Club Oval before turning it on in the second.
Wests led 3-1 at half-time before notching up five second half goals.
Benjamin Sanchez and Blake Serafin grabbed doubles whilst Thomas King, Dylan Perlowski, Daniel Febo and Brendon Sibanda all scored one goal each for Wests.
Tony Agresta was Yoogali FC’s lone goal-scorer.
The win was Wests’ first in the past month after notching up two losses and a draw heading into the game.
Yoogali FC have lost five games on the trot now.
Wests will have to step up a gear next week, as they take on Yoogali SC at EW Moore Oval on Saturday night.
Yoogali FC will also play on Saturday night when the side meets with Griffith City FC at the Exies Oval.
