This year’s event was held at the Coro Club and as per usual, the two sides couldn’t be split for most of the matches.
In the end it was the Mark Hopgood-led Yarrawonga outfit that snatched victory at the end of it all.
It wasn’t by much though.
With only a whisker in it, Griffith went down by just two points with the score ending at 58-56 in Yarrawonga’s favour.
Reports from the Coro Club said that all the players thoroughly enjoyed their time and are eagerly anticipating next year’s clash.
After this year’s match-up was held in Griffith, the challenge will move to Yarrawonga next year.
Next year’s clash will without a doubt be just as close as this year’s event.
Whilst Yarrawonga has the form, Griffith will have learnt from this year’s loss and the players will do everything in their power to turn things around.
And, of course, have a good time while they are there.
