Yoogali FC stand in Wests’ way as the two teams clash at the Coro Club Oval this weekend.
Wests sit in third position with Leeton United five points behind with two rounds to play.
Two losses could see Wests be leapfrogged if Leeton United string together two wins.
Whilst a home final would greatly improve West Griffith’s chances of going deeper into the competition, coach Sharif Moursi said form was even more important.
“We haven’t found form for the past three of four games and we really need to turn it around,” Moursi said.
Wests have registered four points from their past five games and Moursi puts that down to a lack of players.
“We didn't have much depth this year and with a few injuries and suspensions, that put us behind,” he said.
Wests will be close to full-strength with Gavin Wylie the only player missing for Saturday’s game.
Yoogali FC will be no easy-beats and will be hungry after a narrow 1-0 loss to Yoogali SC last week.
