Last Wednesday the Griffith ladies played a four person aggregate stableford in the Julie McWilliam and Robin Hoare Trophy. From a field of 28 players the winning team, with a score of 100, was Pat Tyson, Merle Cudmore, Robyn Barrington and Kath Gullifer. Runners up were Yvonne Couper, Judy Kroek, Mary Gifford and Kaye Dalton on 98.

Nearest the pin in Division 2 went to Shirley Carter and in Division 3 to Pat Tyson. There were eight ball winners with a score of 94 required.
Saturday’s competition was a single stableford event. There was a field of 14 and the winner on 31 on a countback was Kandice Marin. Runner-up was Dulcie Knight. There were no nearest the pins and nine ball winners with a score of 33 required.
Saturday was also the second round of the 4BBB Stableford Holistic Soul Massage Therapies Matchplay. The two winning teams on the day of Lyn Heddich and Robyn Barrington, and Judy Kroek and Kaye Dalton, played off in the final on Sunday with Lyn Heddich and Robyn Barrington taking out the trophy in convincing form.
Next Saturday’s round is a Greenkeepers Revenge with an entry fee of $20 which includes lunch. Captains on the day are Joan Staines and Mary Gifford. A reminder that the Liz Graham and Kathy King 4BBB trophy is on Wednesday, August 3 and nominations for the Riverina Tournament at Narrandera on August 15 can be put on the board downstairs at the clubhouse.
