On the Saturday, Mal Blake, Angus Harris and Peter Budd competed in the criterium events staged in the main street of Wagga around a 1.4 kilometre course.
Blake and Harris were contesting the division two event over 40 minutes and three laps.
Blake was very active throughout the race but could not get a break established.
Harris bided his time and with two laps to go, launched an almighty attack.
After moving clear of the peloton, Harris was set to fly after the two breakaway leaders.
Harris was closing fast but ran out of time and had to be content with a strong third place finish.
Blake finished safely in the bunch.
Peter Budd contested the division three event over 35 minutes and three laps.
Budd was also very active throughout the race and was always riding a good position in the bunch.
With around five laps to go, Budd got himself in a break of four and they picked up a good lead over the field just as rain started to fall making the corners a little treacherous.
Then a strong chase by the bunch pulled everyone back together with two laps to race.
Budd put in a good sprint to take second place.
Sunday saw both Blake and Budd riding in the 103 kilometre road race.
Blake was riding in division two and with 45 kilometres to race got himself into a three rider break.
The break worked hard and continued to put time into the bunch.
Blake finished third after a solid race.
Budd was riding in division three and showed he was in some good form by taking the intermediate sprint.
No breaks were permitted to establish more than a small lead and entering the finale the group was all back together.
After running out of sprint legs, Budd still managed to finish third in the long race.
