“You’ll see him in a Roosters jersey this season,” DPC president Steve Hogan.
It seems McGoldrick is looking to settle down in Coleambally after he was spotted checking out some property around town.
“We enjoyed our time thoroughly out there and it’s a pretty good place to bring him [new-born son] up,” McGoldrick said.
“If I’m out here, then I’d definitely have a run.”
Hogan said it would be a huge gain for the club.
“He’ll be an asset for us, especially in developing some of the youngsters,” he said.
“Ryan’s not coming back to take anyone’s position, it would be more a mentoring role.”
McGoldrick isn’t expected to be back in time for this week’s away game against Hay.
Josh Veivers also returned to the DPC side last week despite rumours saying he had moved back to the UK.
