It’s been almost six weeks since Yenda played on home soil and after winning its first game in the Group 20 rugby league competition since round four last week, the Blueheelers are ready to put on a show for their supporters.

Yenda upset the top of the table Tullibigeal-Lakes United Sharks last week but have yet to win a match at Wade Park.
The outfit will get that chance this week when Yenda takes on Yanco-Wamoon at home on Sunday.
The Blueheelers have only had the two games at home this season – the last scheduled match at Wade Park was cancelled due to wet weather – but as far as co-coach Tom Sellars is concerned, it’s not good enough.
“Losing those two at home – you need to win them,” Sellars said.
“Winning at home is something you aim for and something you should be doing as far as I’m concerned.
“We haven't done it so far but in saying that there’s still a few games to go.
“We're looking forward to this week’s game [against Yanco-Wamoon].
“No doubt it'll be a tough game but we're on a bit of a high at the moment.”
Whilst the Blueheelers want to win to keep their season alive, they more importantly want to do it for the supporters.
“Definitely mate, that’s probably been the disappointing thing – there's all those people out there watching us every week and in those games we haven't played so well. It’s crucial to give them something to cheer about,” Sellars said.
The Blueheelers are flying high after their second win for the season and will be looking to spring an upset over Yanco-Wamoon.
Yanco-Wamoon, come into the match a little underdone after playing just the one game over the past month.
The Hawks still look the likely favourites as they are sitting third on the ladder – Yenda are running eighth – and possess the best defensive record in the competition having leaked just the 139 points from seven games played.
Sellars hoped last week’s victory would help propel his side forward.
“It was good to get a win, it’d been a while and gives us a big boost of confidence starting the second round,” Sellars said.
“We talked about it – if we can get a few wins to start the second round, anything can happen.
“We just followed on from the week before [against Black and Whites] and that’s all I asked the boys – to play with that same intensity.
“We did that, came on and played the full 80, it was very pleasing.”
The first grade match will start at 3pm.
