AS TULLIBIGEAL-LAKES United happily sit atop the Group 20 first grade ladder, the players could be forgiven for getting ahead of themselves.

But, that’s not the case for the Sharks.
They have an end of season goal in mind but are by no means talking September yet.
“At this stage, we have our sights set on top two, we’d ideally like to get a home final,” TLU coach Tim Ring said.
“That’s where we’d like to get to but we are just concentrating on what’s in front of us, taking it week by week.”
The Sharks sit three points clear of Leeton and the Black and Whites on the ladder after playing each team once.
They take on Yenda – at home – on Sunday for the second time this year.
Last time, the sides fought out a scrappy game that TLU ended up winning by just two points.
From there on, the Sharks continued on their merry way and as they kept winning, the belief that the players already had in themselves grew.
“It’s just about playing for your mate, they don’t want to let the bloke beside them down,” Ring said of the Sharks.
“We don’t have many outsiders, the majority have been playing at the club for a few years.
“They all know one another and are all mates.”
TLU welcomed back prop Junior Lisone last week along with Michael Dodson who is looking to make more trips from Goulburn to play for the side.
“It’s good to have Junior back, he definitely makes a big impact with his size and his defence is fairly rock solid,” Ring said.
Whilst TLU has players returning, Yenda will be without Peter Rameka this week.
The workhorse broke his arm early in last week’s match against the Black and Whites and despite playing through the pain will miss this week’s clash.
“He does a lot of work for us in the middle, he’ll be hard to cover but we have a few blokes ready to come in,” Yenda co-coach Tom Sellars said.
Sellars said the seven-point loss against the Black and Whites was a step in the right direction.
“For us it was a massive improvement on where we had been a few weeks before, even though it was a loss,” he said.
“I couldn't have been happier with the effort.”
The match starts at 3pm.
