However, it hasn’t been a problem for The Luxxtones.
The crowds are naturally drawn to their upbeat tempos, boppy arrangements and clever melodies.
It just seems to work.
There is a reason why they are constantly in demand for functions and events. This is not just another cover band – The Luxxtones bring their own flavour to the stage – individually and as a harmonious group. Back by popular demand to First Friday Live, The Luxxtones will keep the audience enterained on Friday night with a combination of R&B, funk and fusion of popular music. Based in Griffith, the seven-piece band features musicians Rosanne Jones, Ross Vecchio, Anthony Biondo, Shane Gilchrist, Tony Andreazza, Lynda Medcalf and Lachlan Pendlebury.
Livio Mazzon, co-founder of First Friday Live, said it was important to select the right artist or band for gigs.
“A lot of consideration goes into the selection of acts. While we are searching for new talent all the time, we appreciate the discerning nature of our audiences,” Mr Mazzon said. “We have recently embarked on some market research. Each month we aim to match our acts with what our supporters want. It’s critical that we deliver. It's part of what drives the whole First Friday Live experience.”
Ready to live up to their tagline once again, The Luxxtones aim to keep its audience “boppin” all night long.
Join them at Giuseppe’s Restaurant and Bar at 7.30pm. Tickets are available for $15 at the door. There will be lucky door prizes and raffles and the Giuseppe’s menu is available until 9.30pm.
