The four men were farewelled by members of the club at an event held at the Griffith Exies Club recognising their hard work and selfless time sacrifices over the years.
Rotary club president Dennis Conroy paid tribute to the men.
He said their service over the years had been absolutely invaluable.
“They’ve been excellent workers and promoters of Rotary and are well recognised in the community as contributors for the Rotary club,” Mr Conroy said.
“As current president of the club I would like to thank them for their service over the years.
“The work they have done in the past to make the club strong is exceptional.
“The standards they have displayed as peers within the club is something all of our members appreciate and respect.
“They are going to be very hard to replace.
“Also, the contribution by their wives will be hard to replace because they have been just as involved and vital to the club over the years.”
While all four of the men had been involved in the club from an early date, Mr Conroy said Eric Ziliotto had been a founding member of the Griffith Rotary Club.
Mr Conroy said the men would be missed by the members of the club, but while it was sad to farewell such icons he was hopeful for the club moving forward.
“It’s just unfortunately a sign of the times,” he said.
“I would like to encourage younger members to get involved.
“It’s a time honoured local, national and international movement that people are able to get satisfaction out of by helping to make a difference in other peoples lives.”
Mr Stacy was presented with the honorary title of ‘Freeman of the City’ in 2015 and even carried the Olympic torch in Griffith during its visit in 2000, among innumerable other community services.
Mr Cudmore has been a regular on the golf course as well as at Rotary events.
Mr Conroy said the club provided a diverse group of people with the opportunity to work with like-minded people to better the lives of others.
“Anyone interested in being a part of working to help other people can call me on 0419 330 538,” he said.
