The men in yellow have been luckless this season with two draws and four losses after seven rounds of the Griffith District Football Association first grade competition.
The side’s loss last week saw them drop to the bottom of the ladder for the first time since round one – a position Yoogali FC will be keen to get out of.
An encouraging sign for Yoogali FC is the result from the side’s previous meeting with Hanwood FC.
On that occasion, Roy Catanzariti nudged home a goal to take the lead early in the second half before Joe Schirippa salvaged a point for Hanwood FC.
Yoogali FC goalkeeper Jone Ralulu was near unbeatable as he made save after save against Hanwood FC.
The women will start the day with Yenda SC taking on Hanwood FC. The Yoogali FC and Hanwood FC rivalry then kicks off with the reserve grade at 5pm before first grade starts at 7pm.
