The hard-running forward has missed most of the Southern Inland season and returns just in time to face an improving Charles Sturt University side.
The two sides will meet for the second time on Saturday after Griffith registered a 57-8 win in round one of the competition.
Since then, the Reddies just have a draw next to their names but Blacks assistant coach Matt Vitucci expected nothing but a tough encounter.
“Last time, they were in uni holidays so they'll have a few players back,” Vitucci said.
“They’ll have a fairly good side and we need to be at our best.”
The Blacks look well on their way to returning to their best.
They registered their second win of the season last week and Vitucci said that could continue as more experience returned to the side.
“Our scrum and lineout have improved out of sight from the Tumut game to the Albury game” Vitucci said.
“Hopefully we can do that again.
“I think it’s just the older heads coming into the forward pack.
“Myself and Michael Stalley [came back last week] and cleaned up the set pieces and gave a bit of direction.”
The game starts at 3.15pm.
