Pinnacle was good enough to snatch one goal through Erin Flynn but GRE were too strong in reply.
Griffith Retirment notched up two of their own through Mat Axtill and Jaimee McQuellin to claim the match 2-1.
The second women’s match saw Griffith Bricks take on Easts.
Despite a fantastic effort from Griffith Bricks’ Hanna Ellis, Easts were too strong and won 3-0.
Easts defence was outstanding in the shut out win whilst Nadine Scarfone, Fiona McKenzie and Tanner Cassidy all scored a goal each.
In the men's competition, Astral Pools took on Easts in the opening men’s game of the day.
Michael Crosato and Isaac Brill were on song for Easts with a goal apiece.
Astral Pool’s Nathan Hardy put in an amazing effort but he wasn’t able to stop Easts who took out the game 2-0.
Exies and Leeton met in the final men’s match of the day.
Exies won 2-0 thanks to a solid effort in defence.
Jared Day’s impressive display in the centre for Leeton wasn’t enough to get the away team the win.
Exies’ Chris Powsy and Mick Colling were able to bag a goal each in the victory.
