It's an awesome feeling around the club.
- Tim Ring
The Sharks were out to prove their great start to the season was no fluke and they did just that, cracking the usually solid DPC defensive line seven times for tries.
They didn’t get off to the greatest start as a lack of possession left them only 18-14 ahead at the break.
A half-time speech by TLU’s captain-coach Tim Ring lit a fire underneath his side as they came out a much improved side.
“We needed to work on our defence,” Ring said of his speech.
“We had lapses in defence and I said we need to get back to doing what we do best.”
It worked as they powered home 20-10 in the second half.
Ring said his team was getting better every week.
“It just keeps getting mentioned that we don’t have any superstars,” he said.
“But our team play so well together and that’s all that matters in the end.
“It’s an awesome feeling around the club.”
